Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: How quickly will ServiceMaster be on site?

A: A ServiceMaster IICRC Certified Technician will be on site within 2-4 hours. After hours or weekend response is 2-4 hours.

Q: Will you bill my insurance company?

A: Yes, once you have filed a claim and receive a claim number for a covered loss we will follow your insurance company’s guidelines for loss mitigation and submit a bill upon completion.

Q: How long will the drying process take?

A: Drying times can vary widely depending on the scope of work and job severity. On average, we can successfully return the affected area(s) to a pre-loss condition in 3-5 days.

Q: If I choose to pay out-of-pocket and not file an Insurance claim do I have to pay up front?

A: No, only a deposit is required to begin work. The remaining balance is due upon completion. The deposit is usually between $250 and $500 dollars but can be higher depending on the size of the job.

Q: What equipment will ServiceMaster use to dry my home or business?

A: ServiceMaster will use a combination of “Air Movers” and “de-humidifier” using cutting edge technology to meet or exceed IICRC drying standards. The appropriate number and combination of drying equipment will be determined by the on-site technician. In most cases, we will place one “Air Mover” every 50 Sq Ft. Q: Should I turn the equipment off at night?

A: No, all equipment must be left on at all times. Turning off the equipment will only delay the drying process.
